Studio Happenings

Hello friends!

A fantastic week it was in the studio. If you are new to my blog this is my weekly update of what has been happening in the studio this week.

I spent the day completing and adding photos to old pages and it felt so good.  Who would have thought a boys birthday party would go so well with Penelope Papers (now deleted).

Another page layout using Regatta  (now deleted) for a beach excursion for school.  Memories of such a wonderful cold day filled my heart with joy.

I learnt a little more about Close to my heart. The products are now labelled with acid free as there have been many rumours they are not.  Now there will be no confusion!

I fell in love with 6×8 page layouts with this cute one about my son and his girls! So easy and affordable to memory keep. I think this will be my new style for all of my favourite photos and memories.

This week also saw the launch of my Cardapalooza events for this year.  I am really excited about them and sure they will sell out! Book your spot to ensure you don’t miss out.  It will be a great night playing with all the new ranges.

Yesterday I spent some time finalising my Pokémon Go Kids workshop ready for this Saturday morning and I can’t wait to teach the kids these great cards.

Have an incredible week and be sure to share with me what you are working on too

Studio Happenings

Hi there and welcome to Studio Happenings where I share what I have been working in this week!

I might just be in love with this new stamp set that supports operation Smile. It’s available from now on my website by clicking here. I have used the Enchantment Fundamentals, silver shimmer trim and the Shinhan Markers.

We celebrated 2 very exciting birthdays this week and Koby’s was the first.  I made this card using my digital software.  I also offer services in personalised invitations, cards and prints.  This new super hero collection has been very popular!

The new Annual Inspirations Book has been released and I will have them with me at all future events for $7. They are full of ideas and artwork together with our new range!

I spent a lot of the week giving my cricut a work out making all of these cogs for a local Scouts groups theatre production coming up.  I love giving back to the community and they were thrilled. They are going to be made into head pieces. They turned out great!

The second birthday came with my kids choosing the images for Daddy! He loved it. I just need 2 days for design work for this type of card and turn around is within 4 days.

Today to end the week I spent the day designing and planning the next 3 card workshop this Tuesday morning at 9.30am. Its based on the gorgeous retiring Operation Smile Animal Greetings stamp set. You can get this only until the end of the month here

Have a great weekend and be sure to check back next week.  It’s going to be an awesome week!

Studio Happenings

Hi and happy Thursday! (To be honest I thought it was Wednesday today Oops!)

It’s been a crazy week in the studio and I can’t wait to share with you all.

Last Wednesday night we had so much fun at the Product Premiere at the Hilton and I was asked to present to the room about how much I love my customers. I was so nervous but so happy to have some of my team with me to help me be strong. I had lots of lovely comments after the event so feel really great about the night.  These photos are of my team the #sassysisters_sa

Yesterday I was very happy to spend the day playing with yet to be released papers and was so excited at how this page came out.  I used sapphire cardstock, silver shimmer trim and the Magical Complements.

They just worked perfectly together. I love blue layouts they just make me happy!

How cute is this card I made.  Its using the brand new Operation Smile fundraising stamp set. I just love it.  So cute and great to colour in! This stamp set is available from 1st August. Not long to go now!

This weeks 3 card workshop was so much fun playing with watercolour paints and smooshing. Everyone loved it and we got messy. Lots of giggles and fun.

To finish off of our week my youngest son, who is 7, this weekend helped me make all of these watercolour card fronts ready for cards to go to the Amber Alley Wellness Hub which has just opened.

Have a crafty week and please remember the incredible joining offer this month!
